Prior to becoming a Hollywood screenwriter, Tracee was a professional horse trainer for several decades who specialized in working with young riders.
As a result, she is a firm believer in the powerful healing effect horses can have on the lives of those who interact with them.
Her passion for horse training and her ongoing work in animal rescue has flavored much of her work as a screenwriter, and led her to create the documentary film, WILD AT HEART, about wild horses tamed by prison inmates, which in turn inspired a feature-length project she’s currently developing.
Tracee’s talent as a published screenwriter and her experience as a horsewoman will ensure that MY SILENT VOICE will be one of the most authentic and heartfelt feature family film stories featuring a young twelve year old deaf girl and her adventures with her new quite peculiar horse.
